Silvana Jordan - LMT
Silvana was born and raised in Ecuador, South America. She moved to the United States in 1999, where she lived in New Jersey with her husband Sam. She and her family relocated to Juneau in 2011.
Silvana graduated from the Helma Institute of Massage Therapy in 2004. Her massage training includes Swedish, Trigger Point, Sports, Prenatal, Hot Stone, Reflexology and Shiatsu Massage. She continues to take education courses in different disciplines and techniques in massage and bodywork therapies. She also holds degrees in Tourism/Hotel Administration and Business administration.
In her practice, Silvana integrates techniques like myofascial release, trigger point, mobilization and stretching to encourage holistic healing. She believes that the benefits of massage and bodywork enhance general health, help release chronic muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress, and promote faster healing of injured muscular tissue.
When she is not working, Silvana enjoys spending time with her family, taking walks and participating in different community activities. She loves being a mom and enjoys living in beautiful Juneau.
